Do you want to incorporate ‘Going Green’ in your life, or have you already begun the journey?

Going Green can seem overwhelming at first, which may be what is deterring you from taking that first step. The good news is that you can start small, one small change can contribute to the overall effort in limiting our footprint on our environment. After all, just like our bodies, there is only one Mother Earth and we should do everything in our power to keep her healthy for generations to come.

Many people don’t understand that disposable coffee cups are lined with plastic making them technically a single-use piece of plastic that ends up in the landfill forever. The next time you find yourself stopping to buy a cup of coffee or tea on your way to work or back from dropping the kids off at school, take a reusable mug with you. Coffee shops like Starbucks will even give you 10% off your cup of coffee each time by using one of their reusable cups. No Starbucks close by? Ask your local coffee shop if they provide any sort of discount for bringing your own mug. Even if they don’t, rest assured that you’re doing your part by not adding unnecessary waste in our landfills.
